2022 Cabernet Sauvignon

Glass Rock Ranch is a unique vineyard site nestled in the rolling hills of Coombsville AVA, in Napa Valley. Perched at 500 to 800 feet in elevation, it is the kind of vineyard that teaches humility. Here, dry-farmed vines work to establish the deep root systems needed to survive in extremely rocky soils—remnants of the caldera that once defined this singular subregion.  As the vines have established themselves in the well-draining soils, they now offer everything needed to produce wines of natural freshness, depth, and concentration, with high minerality.

The 2022 Tansy Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a vivid bouquet of Morello cherry and cassis, layered with elegant undertones of rose petal and fresh bay laurel. On the palate, the wine is plush and inviting, framed by a core of newly-ripe fruit and lifted by aromatic hints of cedar and eucalyptus, adding both depth and freshness. Fine-grained tannins lend a velvety texture, guiding the wine through a long, graceful finish that echoes with floral and herbal complexity. A beautifully balanced expression of site and vintage—refined, expressive, and quietly powerful.
