2024 Pinot Noir

Our perspective on adding Pinot to our Italian fair can be summed up with “when in Rome”. Northern California has some of the world’s most sought after Pinot Noir vineyards, and one of those is Signal Ridge. Sitting at 2,642 feet elevation atop Cold Spring Mountain in the Mendocino Ridge AVA, this organic vineyard overlooks the picturesque Anderson Valley. It is the highest elevation vineyard in Mendocino, Sonoma, and Napa counties with diverse soils that produce unique and exotic flavors.

A striking palate of that transport you to the view of the Pacific from Cold Spring mountain. There is a strong balance of flavors matched with high natural acidity and moderate tannin

Flavors of cranberry, pomegranate, spice and alpine transport you to the view of the Pacific high up under the Redwood forests.  It’s as magical of a wine as the vineyard generously offers in the fruits. The balance of acidity, fruit and flavors means this wine in incredible today or can age for 8-10 years.
